Future Sight Theory?

okay. just bought a pack of Magic:The Gathering future sight cards and got several cards in the new format. I was wondering if anyone knew for sure if this would be the new format used in future sets, and if these cards will be reprinted in future sets as well. also, if this is not the case, is there a purpose to the symbols in the upper left corner of these strange cards? thanks.

I attended the pre-release to Future Sight and they had a poll to determine whether or not people liked the new card layout — a vast majority said no. It is just a border to show you what cards will be made in the future. Basically which cards will be remade later on in future sets. That is their timeshifted theme for this set. For instance in Planar Chaos, if you notice the timeshifted cards (ie: Groundbreaker, Damnation) have a different border. This is so you know that card is a remake of an old card. Check them out (others include Brute Force and Essence Warden).

So basically what I’m trying to say is those cards with the new border, will at some point be in an upcoming set.
